Réforme du Code fiscal, ou l’art de faire de l’impôt une vision
On September 18, 2025, the National Assembly adopted the reform of the General Tax Code, the result of a project led by Finance Minister Cheikh Diba. More than just a broadening of the tax base, this overhaul marks an evolution in the concept of national taxation, which is no longer limited to collecting resources but seeks to guide the economy and social behavior.
The reform primarily targets money transfers, imported vehicles, gambling, alcohol, and tobacco. By integrating sectors that have been partially regulated or lightly taxed until now, the government is affirming its desire to capture the flows from the digital economy and strengthen the supervision of practices deemed sensitive. This move is not solely financial; it reflects a philosophy in which tax becomes a regulatory tool, guiding practices and reminding us of collective responsibility in the face of health and social risks.
This shift comes at a time when the state is seeking to consolidate its financial independence. The expected new revenue will fuel the Economic and Social Recovery Plan, which lays the foundations for endogenous and sustainable development. By placing taxation at the heart of its strategy, Senegal affirms that its sovereignty is not limited to budgetary choices, but extends to control of the resources generated by its own citizens and the economic dynamics it hosts.
Through this reform, tax finally becomes an instrument of collective project. It is no longer simply a matter of filling public coffers but of building a society more consistent with Vision Senegal 2050, where tax contributions support the modernization of the country while reflecting its social and ethical priorities.

Alors ou est le Problème?
une vision c'est industrialisation, agriculture bref tout sauf ces actions des médiocres cafards du fisc !!
tant que les autorités ne garantissent pas celà, Moi en premier et la majeure partie des Sénégalais rechigneront à payer les taxes et c'est totalement justifié.
Sonko avait promis de supprimer les fonds politiques, à notre grande surprise il s'est servi 9 milliards de fonds politiques de manière illégitime et plus que ce que recevaient les anciens présidents qu'il critiquait. En plus c'est en période de crise économique et financière majeure. C'est de la haute trahison.
Il n'est pas un patriote.
C'est ce traître qui veut que les gens se sacrifient pour son gouvernement incompétent et dépensier.
Tous ses plans vont échouer parce qu'il n'est pas sincère.
