Par honneur et par vérité (par Salimata Dieng Adjointe Secrétaire général national de la JPS)
By honor and by truth
On September 10, I decided to make public an opinion that I had long shared, privately, with several party officials and some of the President's collaborators.
God is your witness: if this were not the only way to make myself heard sincerely, I would never have decided to publish this text on Facebook. My intention was never polemical. It is part of a constructive approach, faithful to my deep conviction in freedom of expression and useful criticism.
My remarks were nothing more than a lucid diagnosis of the internal dysfunctions of our party, particularly the low level of involvement of young people and sincere activists whose only desire is to serve.
A political organization, like any human structure, must be able to listen to the voices that alert us to its flaws. But instead of dwelling on the substance of my thoughts and debating them, the response was a sanction: my exclusion. If my comments are considered a misconduct justifying my dismissal, then I also expect to be relieved of my role as Deputy Secretary General of the JPS. Because my approach was only intended to highlight the negligence in the development of our party's human resources.
My intention has never been to harm or weaken the institution in which I serve.
I have never sought to impose any appointment whatsoever. The Patriotic Youth of Senegal (JPS) has always distinguished itself by its selfless patriotism and its sincere commitment, far from any quest for reward.
Some of the comments surprised me, as many did not understand the true meaning of my text. Our leader, Ousmane Sonko, taught us sacrifice and self-denial. This is the lesson we have followed, en masse and loyally, since the creation of PASTEF.
Patriotism runs in our veins, but it does not blind us. And this is what I reaffirmed, frankly, when the cabinet summoned me. Because, the day after the publication of my text, on September 11, I was summoned, then summoned again, like all the other mission leaders, on September 12.
Three weeks later, I received notification of my dismissal, dated September 12, the same day all the project managers had been summoned.
I will not hide my disappointment at having been dismissed for having expressed a sincere opinion in a party which advocates internal democracy and freedom of speech.
But, as François Hollande suggests in his lessons on power, men and women of conviction, strength, and keen social intelligence must be the best allies of leaders.
And Max Weber reminds us in the scholar and the politician: the only true loyalty is that towards the people.
I would like to thank the President of the Republic, His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye Faye, for the trust he has placed in me by appointing me as project manager.
Dismissal does not extinguish convictions, does not interrupt commitment, and does not hinder a career. (Fa inna ma'a al-'usri yusrā)
Today more than ever, I remain determined to continue my militant fight within PASTEF, for a just, sovereign and prosperous Senegal.
I offer my heartfelt thanks to all those who, without even knowing me, took the time to listen, understand, and support me. Your messages, calls, and posts have touched me deeply. They remind us how essential it is to strengthen the party's support base and to respect the activists who serve with loyalty.
Let us continue to work together for the triumph of the national project, because in 2029, we will all be accountable for the outcome. We fought to bring a man to power based on a collective vision, not personal ambitions. I have always been, I am, and I will remain loyal, because we are walking the path of a project that is both realistic and achievable. I will contribute as much as necessary, as I have always done until now.

Lui même quand il n'arrivait plus a laver son linge sale en famille, il est sorti pour en parler publiquement.
Tu as nommé, Hollande et autres.

Bonne continuation
