Santé féminine : la SNR s’engage pour le dépistage du cancer
On the occasion of Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Day, organized in partnership with the Senegalese League Against Cancer (LISCA), the women of the National Recovery Society (SNR) launched a significant initiative to promote prevention and women's health.
The association's president, Ms. Marth Dacougna, has asked the Director General of the SNR, Mr. Babacar Ndiaye, to cover the cost of mammograms and smear tests, which are not covered by health insurance. This approach is fully in line with the General Management's social policy.
Ms. Wade Aminata Sy, Vice President of the Association and Director of Human Resources at SNR, welcomed the support of the Director General, emphasizing the importance of this day dedicated to women's health. "This is a first of its kind and demonstrates the commitment of the General Management to the well-being of its female employees," she said.
Mr. Babacar Ndiaye recalled the high cost of cancer care, calling for collective action to combat this scourge, which particularly affects women and impacts the national economy. He reaffirmed his support for the initiative, assuring that he would provide the necessary resources to support women in this process. He also expressed the hope that this initiative could be extended to the neighbors with whom the SNR shares the building, in order to benefit a greater number of women.
The Director General finally praised the partnership between LISCA and the women of the SNR, which made it possible to consult around thirty women during this screening day.

Il faut commemcer par le commencement ; relever le niveau des hôpitaux mouroirs, pouvoir y accéder sans ticket payant à l'entrée, faire des campagnes planning familial et arrêtez de poser devant les caméras.
