En Juin, 2015 (11:21 AM)STAMFORD — A YMCA janitor was charged over the weekend with inappropriately touching a 15-year-old boy in the locker room at the Bell Street establishment.
Bara Mbengue, 54, of Washington Boulevard, was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and felony risk of injury to a child.
Lt. Diedrich Hohn said the teen had been swimming with two friends in the Y’s pool in the afternoon, before the three went into the locker room where Mbengue was cleaning up.
Mbengue began a conversation with the boy and, while the two were speaking, Mbengue allegedly reached over and touched the boy’s genitals over his swim suit, Hohn said. The boy yelled at Mbengue, telling him not to touch him, and went out of the locker room to complain to a YMCA employee.
Hohn said the two other boys corroborated the youth’s account of what happened.

The Oklahoma City Police Department says they have arrested a man accused of stealing items from a local mosque and attempting to sell them on the mosque's property.
Police reports show around 9 p.m. June 18 officers were called to the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City, 3815 N. St. Clair. When officers arrived they made contact with a man who works at the mosque.
The man told officers a man had been stealing items from the mosque's donation bin. While investigating the incident the officer observed the suspect, who took off running from the property. After a short foot pursuit, the suspect, later identified as 25-year-old Moustafa Elhadj Ndiaye, was taken into custody.
During the pursuit, the officer noticed several items on the ground believed to be taken from the mosque's donation bin. After Ndiaye was in custody, the officer observed a table, removed from the mosque, that Ndiaye was allegedly using to sell the stolen items in a parking lot south of the mosque.
Ndiaye was then advised he was being arrested for burglary and trespassing. When told the calling party observed him removing items from the mosque's donation bin, Ndiaye allegedly said that "the property was not theirs" and they had no right to press charges on him "because they were Muslim".
Ndiaye was then transported to the Oklahoma County Jail.
